The Original, as the name suggests, was Hellyers Road Distillery's first released expression. A subtle and delicate style that has been triple distilled from premium Tasmanian grain and some of the world’s purest drinking water. Matured in American Oak and bottled at 46.2% alcohol volume with no artificial colouring and or filtration.  Our distilling process ensures an enhanced single malt flavour delivering a well-balanced and very smooth and incredibly versatile lighter bodied spirit. 

An ideal introduction for those looking to safely venture into the world of single malt whisky.

Tasting note - The nose is drawn to hints of citrus, lemon and orange, while the palate is in receipt of subtle vanilla sweetness, hints of maple and brioche, before transcending to a warm, toasty finish that conjures impressions of freshly buttered sourdough.
